Get Beautiful and Glowing Skin With These Homemade Face Masks

Sometimes ‘natural’ is the way to go. If you want to save a few bucks and still get flawless and glowing skin, try these effective face masks.
#1 Almond Face Mask

Use of almond enhances skin tone texture if used everyday for atleast a fortnight. Soak 5-6 almonds in milk overnight or the whole day (if you are planning on applying the face mask before bed). Crush the almonds in the milk and add more milk if required. Mash until you get a fine paste. Apply the paste all over your face evenly and leave it on overnight. Wash your face in the morning. You will see visible difference in your skin tone and texture from the first application.

#2 Avocado Exfo-Mask

Avocado helps remove dead skin cells and repairs uneven skin texture while moisturizing the skin. Mix a spoon of mashed avocado with 1 tablespoon oats powder and blend the two ingredients together using a spoon until you get a fine paste. Apply the paste all over your face while gently exfoliating with finger tips. Let it work its magic for 15-20 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water. While washing scrub your face lightly to remove dead skin cells. Moisturize if needed.

#3 Cucumber & Turmeric Face Mask

Cucumber and turmeric both have skin lightening ability which works perfectly on oily and dry skin too. It also helps in treating sunburn. Mix one tablespoon cucumber juice, one tablespoon line juice and one tablespoon turmeric powder. If you have super dry skin, you can also add a tablespoon of honey or glycerin to balance the moisture. Mix all the ingredients together and apply the mixture all over your face including under the eyes. Leave it on for 20 minutes. Once the mask starts to feel really dry, wash it off with lukewarm water. Do this for atleast a week to see results.

#4 Avocado Honey Coconut Oil Mask

Avocado helps remove dead skin cells naturally while honey and coconut oil together help hydrate skin. In a bowl, add one tablespoon mashed avocado, one tablespoon honey and one tablespoon coconut oil. Mix all the ingredients well and apply the paste on your face while gently massaging it for a minute or two. Let the mask sit on your face for 20 minutes and wash off with warm water. Pat dry your face using a tissue paper to get rid of excess oil.
